It looks like spring is just around the corner. Seeing the sun more days than not and feeling the warmer weather makes me really happy.
The spring is always exciting for me but this year I have lots to celebrate. March 2013 marks my first anniversary as a Zentangle Teacher and the launch of my new website/blog.
Last March, after returning from Rhode Island from the CZT Feb training with Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, I was spending my time drawing and drawing and drawing. Even though I knew in my heart that Zentangle was the answer to my prayers, everything about this new art form was like a foreign language to me, never having drawn a straight line before.
Zentangle is the most fun and relaxing thing I have ever done and I am feeling totally blessed every day to have found it for so many reasons. I knew I would enjoy teaching and sharing it with others but never imagined that this would happen. When I opened my mail yesterday and saw this blog posting, I was in shock to say the least.
I want to say Thank You to Beth for such wonderful kind words, to all my other students who have sought me out to teach them Zentangle, to Rick and Maria for creating this wonderful art form, to the many Certified Zentangle Teachers around the world who have been so encouraging and to my family and friends for all their support,
You have ALL made my day, my week and my year!
