Amazing Holiday and Amazing Tangles
My husband Nail and I just returned from a lovely vacation in Cartagena, Columbia. This is a fabulous place to combine a beach holiday with amazing sightseeing. The history and the architecture date back to the 1600’s. Cartagena is a photographers paradise. Tangles (aka patterns) were at every turn and corner. I knew we would see lots of “tangle” inspiration but was thrilled upon our entrance to our hotel, The Decameron to see this.
Right in front of me was this beautiful photograph done on canvas of a collage of traditional Columbian straw hats. Very striking!
Four of my favourite passions – Zentangle, Travel, the Sun and the Ocean all in the same place. Who could ask for anything more?
