Do Computers and Zentangle have Anything in Common?

Computer_problems

Today is one of those days that I need to sit back and thank my lucky stars that I have wonderful sons who are very tech-savvy. The Zentangle process is all about staying calm and being in a relaxed focus. It is kind of ironic that here I am creating a blog about all things Zentangle and I feel like this little guy on the computer.

All my life I have been a very creative person and when I get into some kind of a fix, I can pretty much figure out some way to get out of it. My creative self just seems to kick in and the trouble or difficulty gets solved.

That is…….. until I need to use a computer to create a blog or do just about anything other than send emails or “google.” I am not sure what in the world happens to my brain but it seems like it surely flies out the window when it’s time to do anything out of the ordinary.

Over the years both my kids have tried to very patiently teach me but unless I do it at least a thousand times, I just cannot seem to remember.

All I can do is say thank you to both of them, and especially to my youngest son who is actually the one building this site.

I would like to dedicate this blog to my sons, but especially to Jonathan who has spent hours trying to undo my mistakes.

My life lesson here is, I can’t screw up Zentangle but I can really screw up a computer. . In Zentangle, there is no such thing as a mistake and if I do happen to do something I don’t like, I can call it a “creative opportunity” to move on from there. No such luck with this blasted computer!!
