Twinks and Tangles Workshop with Jerryann Haggart CZT and Artist and Brenda Shaver CZT and Artist

When – Sat. Oct 3 and Sun. Oct. 4 from 10 am to 4 pm Where- Elora Public Library, 144 Geddes St., Elora Ontario Fee – $190 for two days including a three piece Twinks mini kit of your choice of colours ( possiblility of a one day registration if space allows at $100.) Come and explore the beautiful watercolour effects of Twinkling H2O’s as
you incorporate them into your Zentangle art. Twinks are watercolour paints that come in over 200 luscious colours. They are mixed with finely ground minerals to create a subtle iridescence, a soft glow, or a fine shimmer. We will be playing with some special effects using every day materials to inspire and create four exciting projects, two each day, all tangled and enhanced with these lovely paints in sweet little jars. Prepare to let your imagination run wild playing with
“Twinks and Tangles”.
You will receive a mini set of Twinkling H2O’s watercolour paints, along with brush, quality watercolour papers, and everything else you need to create ( please bring your mini kit with a 01 Micron and a 05 or 08 Micron). No matter if you have never used watercolours before, you will learn the secret of setting up to ensure a lovely result.
Also detailed notes and instructions will be yours to assist you in continuing on with this lovely type of Zentangle inspired artwork after the workshop.
Jerryann Haggart – Bio
Jerryann, a CZT #12 began tangling thru a chance introduction to Brenda Shaver when visiting her family in Ontario. She has always been involved in creating or teaching art in one way or another. In her university years, she managed to talk the fine arts program into letting her take studio courses as electives, and has explored many different media, including stained glass, carving, oils, acrylics, and watercolors. A lifelong learner, she has studied with many notable artists and artisans over the years. She also graduated from Queens with a BA & M.Div. and added a few more letters as the years went by. Jerryann has had a lot of interesting jobs over the years, and loves working with people in a variety of challenging situations, with a view toward balance and empowerment. She currently works part time for SD 72 in the StrongStart Program for children and families, as well as spending every available minute either in her home studio or with her 
grandchildren on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Jerryann believes everyone is an artist, and getting in touch with the creative is essential to nurture one’s spirit. For her, art has to be fun, enjoyable and contribute to ones sense of wellbeing. Zentangle was a natural fit, and Jerryann loves the way it helps people open the doors to producing their own artistic expressions.
