What a great weekend in Grand Bend ! Zentangle and lots of great new friends and customers! Although it was a bit chilly temperature wise, the warm and friendly people made up for the cold. Since it was Memorial Day in the US, many travelled to Grand Bend for the long weekend and people from all over US and Canada visited us in the shop.
On Sunday, I had the privilege of introducing Zentangle to Emma, a lovely student from Michigan. Emma lives and goes to University in Michigan but visits Grand Bend on holidays. Great to meet you, Emma and I love your Zentangles..You do amazing art!! Thanks for coming back to the shop to show me your finished tiles. Plus, I am so exited! Emma loves art journalling and has inspired me to look into doing that!! I can hardly wait to get the book she recommended. I learn so much from my students.Thank you for a lovely time.
Charmaine and Gail also came to the shop to learn Zentangle. These two ladies have such an interesting story, growing up together in Mississauga, losing track of each other for many years and recently reuniting in Grand Bend. What a delightful way to spend an afternoon – experiencing the joys of Zentangle with your best childhood friend..very precious. Happy Tangling and thank you to both of you! Your tiles are beautiful!!
